Malek, Karli, Lexi, Nahin, Tao, and Jessica attend The Allied Genetics Conference (TAGC) in Washington, DC.  Malek gave a talk and everyone else gave posters 🙂

Karli receives the 1st place award in the C. elegans poster competition and an honorable mention poster award from the Genetics Society of America at TAGC

Malek receives the DeLill Nasser Award for Professional Development from the Genetics Society of America. She will use this award to support her travel to The Allied Genetics Conference.

Vasilios Lomis receives the Paynter Memorial Award, given annually to the graduating senior with the highest academic index who is going to medical school

John Salsini-Tobias is awarded the L. Leon Campbell Phi Beta Kappa Distinguished Senior Award; this award is given to a natural sciences major who has demonstrated outstanding intellectual promise and a commitment to scientific research
